Global OTC-Pricing Business Architect/Proces Expert (SAP S/4HANA)

For a client of Eswelt I am looking for a real Order to Cash Process Architect. You will be working on a global SAP S/4HANA program on Order to Cash and Pricing. This means that this person will be part of design and baselining workshops, design end to end processes, identify (process) improvements, design the organisation for operations to run these processes effectively,  define risks and mitigations, and assess impact of technology changes on all these components. This person will need to know all the inside outs of Order to Cash and (transactional) pricing.

Roles & responsibilities:

• Secure future state OTC and pricing design in line with the OTC Blueprint by translating the OTC-finance requirements into the global S/4 Blueprint that includes process, technology, and organisational lenses, policies and procedures, master data, controls, and KPI/PPIs
• Ensure end-to-end process and technology integration through collaboration within the S/4 program and with other global functions, by working closely together with global product and process owners in other departments 
• Identify and propose to delegate Functional Owner the potential redesign of processes and operational roles and responsibilities, following the identification of necessary changes based on process analysis, benchmarks and continuous process and control improvement initiatives
• Train and advise program resources on (changes to) Process Design and the Blueprint
• Take a quality assurance role towards programme/projects deployments.
• Design global frameworks and cookbooks in close collaboration with cross functional stakeholders, always thinking and acting E2E.
• Organize/facilitate process design/validation workshops and perform change impact assessments for deployment countries

Experience & profile:

• Education: University level;
• Work experience: 8-10 years, including exposure to cross-functional and complex international environment.
• Required work experience in field of expertise:
• Demonstrated experience in Order to Cash and transactional finance (credit, collection & dispute management, customer payments, invoicing.
• Demonstrated experience in pricing, discount & promotion processes, specifically price maintenance, pricing analytics, trade term structures, trade promotion management and financial deal settlement (rebates).
• Deep understanding of the Market to Cash process and the associated risks and complexities. Understanding of order management and commerce processes that impact OTC
• Demonstrated experience with design of Blueprint and Target Operating Models and organisational structures in OTC and pricing.
• Functional skills: Process (end-to-end) oriented thinking, combination of analytical and conceptual thinking. Experience with process design & mapping, project management, change management and platform deployment using Agile methodology.
• System requirements: experience with OTC business platforms, credit, collection & dispute management platforms, Pricing platforms, ERP (SAP S/4), process mapping tools
•  Languages: English (excellent verbal and written skills).
• Other skills: Strong communication skills. Ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships, addressing conflicting priorities, ensuring tactical alignment. Working with and integrating broad areas within global finance and other global functions.

Duration: 3-6 months with option to extend (intention for multiple years)
