SAP FICA BRIM Consultant

Job description

For a client of Eswelt I am looking for two SAP FICA BRIM consultant. They are busy with a large S/4 implementation. As a SAP FICA BRIM Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing solutions for new initiatives, optimizing day-to-day SAP operations, and enhancing existing functionalities. Drawing upon your extensive knowledge of SAP FICO, FICA, and BRIM, you will craft solutions aligned with the organization's strategic objectives. Your responsibilities will encompass developing solution design documents, functional design documents, configuration rationale, testing, and deployment. Collaboration with business stakeholders and digital teams to identify improvement opportunities and propose effective solution designs will be a core aspect of your role. Your expertise in FICA and BRIM will enable you to translate business requirements into system configurations that fulfill these needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume full ownership of projects, ensuring the quality of changes from inception to hypercare phase.
  • Apply analytical thinking to deliver scalable and innovative solutions.
  • Make swift decisions in a dynamic environment with varying degrees of uncertainty.
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for project and development methodology improvements.
  • Provide training to key users and offer key user support.
  • Analyze issues and changes, developing effective resolutions.

Requirements of Special Knowledge/Skills:

  • Over 10 years of hands-on SAP FI experience, with expertise in SAP General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
  • Proficiency in configuring and mapping business processes in both ECC and S4 HANA environments.
  • Over 8 years of hands-on SAP FICA and BRIM experience, including integration with FICO and legacy systems.
  • Familiarity with Convergent Mediation, CM integration with external systems, and SAP BRIM.
  • Minimum of 3 full cycle projects involving SAP BRIM and FICA.
  • In-depth knowledge of Business Partner functionality and FICA best practices.
  • Ability to understand detail and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in Controlling and Profitability Analysis is a plus.
  • Strong aptitude for gathering business requirements and translating them for technical consultants.
  • Hands-on experience in preparing functional specifications, technical specifications, and conducting testing, including UAT.
  • ABAP code debugging capability (ability to read, interpret, and design program logic) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in integrating digital platforms and legacy applications with SAP.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Organized, flexible, proactive, and results-oriented.
  • Experience in team leadership and acting as a technical mentor.

Starting Date: ASAP (Latest by 01-12-2023) 
Duration: 3-6 months with an option to extend
Location: Mainly Remote / Area of Amsterdam 
Amount of Hours a week: 16-40 (Depends on your availibilty)
