The job
Our client is looking for a Database Expert specialised in SQL Server; you will be part of the infrastructure team. Your expertise on databases and its infrastructure helps the company forward and therefore supports the company’s growth. Main goals is to ensure the DB environment is at its highest level possible (performance and reliability). For business purposes, our client is very much dependant on the correct collection and management of the data domain. Together with managing the current database environment, you will also support them in setting up a Data Competence Centre; therefore, having a natural interest/experience in Business Intelligence & (Big)Data Science is a plus.
Your profile
Our client believes personality is the most important and therefore is looking for a motivated colleague who is driven to get the most out this position (for both our client as for yourself). Our client is open for professionals with a first work experience, but also for people who have multiple years of relevant SQL Server Database experience. Together with your infrastructure knowledge/interest, you will ensure a waterproof Database environment for our client. You also have a natural interest in learning new technologies (e.g. RavenDB, Azure Cloud, DevOPS, Big Data technologies, Kuberenetes, etc.). Furthermore, you have the following competencies: eager to learn, proactive, ability to adapt to change, clear communication, taking responsibility, flexible. Speaking English is mandatory, speaking Dutch/French is a big plus.
