ERP Finance Implementation Consultant

The organisation
This partner is an internationally operating transportation and logistics organization with over 3000 employees worldwide. You will be working at the HQ in Amsterdam, this is the heart of the IT organization where all strategies are set out on a global scale.
As the organization keeps growing, they are currently implementing their new ERP system globally to be ahead of their projected growth, you will play a crucial role in this implementation the upcoming years.

The position
As ERP Finance Implementation Consultant you will be the bridge between the business and IT. You play a key role in gathering the business requirements of the Finance department and translate these to the right ERP solution by designing the solution with the implementation partner. You will be involved in designing the ERP finance blueprint and rollout this template worldwide.

Your responsibilities:
  • Contribute in several workstreams within the ERP project;
  • Gathering the business requirements from the finance department;
  • Be involved in desiging en optimizing the finance processes;
  • Stakeholder management on all levels in the organization, both internally and externally.
  • Take the lead in defining test scripts, testing and support UAT’s.
  • Quality control for the external partners.
Skills and knowledge
  • Minimal 5 years experience in Finance and good understanding of finance principles;
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in finance and accounting;
  • Experience in working streams like Treasury, RtR and FP&A;
  • Experience in ERP implementations and process optimization;
  • Detailed worker with passion for data and strong in Excel;
  • Projectmanagement experience is a plus;
  • Good communication skills in English;
  • Salary package of €75.000 – €80.000 gross per year
