SAP S/4 HANA MM-Logistics Consultant

For a client who is doing a multi-year SAP S/4 implementation, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated freelance SAP S/4 Logistics Consultant for a project requiring expertise in SAP MM, WM, LE, and integration with SD, FI, and PM modules.

Your profile

The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of Material Master, Stock Transfer, Intercompany Stock Transfer, Inventory Management, Direct Procurement with Inbound Delivery, Logistics Third Party Warehouse Management, Subcontracting, Batch Management, and Serial Number Management. This role involves collaborating with a team of professionals to develop blueprints, guide workshops, and establish SAP standards for streamlined business processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to elicit requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions;
• Leverage comprehensive knowledge of SAP modules to design and configure systems, ensuring alignment with best practices;
• Lead workshops to communicate SAP standards, facilitate discussions, and guide stakeholders in understanding proposed solutions;
• Assist in blueprint creation, documentation, and process guides to illustrate SAP-driven workflows;
• Provide guidance to colleagues, aiding their understanding of SAP capabilities and functionalities;
• Collaborate with the project team to troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues during implementation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an SAP S/4 Logistics Consultant with proficiency in SAP MM, WM, LE, and integration with SD, FI, and PM modules;
• In-depth understanding of Material Master, Stock Transfer, Intercompany Stock Transfer, Inventory Management, Direct Procurement with Inbound Delivery, Logistics Third Party Warehouse Management, Subcontracting, Batch Management, and Serial Number Management;
• Strong communication skills for leading workshops, explaining complex concepts, and collaborating with colleagues;
• Ability to translate business needs into effective SAP solutions while adhering to industry best practices;
• Experience in blueprint creation, process documentation, and guiding teams through implementations;
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive issue resolution.

Starting Date: ASAP (latest by 1st of October 
Duration: 6 months with option to extend (multiple year program) 
Amount of hours a week: 16-40 (scaling up) 
Location: 95% Remote / Some travel within EU.
